What are bookkeeping cleanup services? This service identifies issues within the QuickBooks file and corrects them. Here is how it works.
Step 1: The Initial Call
During our free initial call, we will discuss the scope of the services you need and how we can help. We will discuss specifics, such as the time periods you need corrected, time frame you need the work done by along with pricing for our diagnostic review service.
Step 2: The QuickBooks Diagnostic Review
One of our certified QuickBooks ProAdvisors will perform an in depth review of your QuickBooks file. This review identifies issues within the accounting system and offers recommendations on what we can do to fix them. We look at the transaction details for the accounts on your Balance Sheet and Profit & Loss along with identifying whether all bank, credit card and loan reconciliations have been completed. Typical issues found during this diagnostic review are duplicated transactions, inventory issues, unapplied customer or vendor payments, misposted transactions and incomplete reconciliations. If the issues we find are minor, we will resolve the issues and go over our changes with you to prevent the issues from happening again. If the issues we find are moderate to extensive, we will provide you with a written Diagnostic Review Report that will outline the issues we found, give recommendations on how to fix each issue along with a fixed fee proposal for our services.
Step 3: The Cleanup Work
You will meet your dedicated QuickBooks ProAdvisor that will be working on your QuickBooks file. They will be in contact with you throughout the process and will keep you updated and informed of the status of the project.
Step 4: The Follow Up Training
As part of our cleanup services, we will go over the issues we found and provide training to ensure that the bookkeeping stays in good shape.
